About the Photographer
I live in the north west of England in the beautiful Ribble Valley and on the edge of the 'Forest of Bowland National Landscape'. Most of my life I have been interested in the outdoors and wildlife. After retiring and as an ageing body reduced my ability to continue fell walking I turned to wildlife watching and then including photographing wildlife. Most photographs were taken in north west England with a few taken in the Ardnamurchan peninsula area of Scotland.
This is a selection of photographs taken over the last few years, I usually post my recent photos on my Facebook page - a link can be found below the menu at the foot of each page.
I like to consider myself as an amateur naturalist rather than a photographer. My photography is purely for my own enjoyment. I hope you also enjoy the photographs.
The equipment I use is:
Camera : Nikon D750
Lens: Sigma 150 - 600 mm
Sigma 80 - 400 mm
Nikon 18 - 140 mm
Tamron 18 - 270 mm
Sigma 70 - 300 mm Macro
